UK's Pharmanovia sets up Korean offshoot < Pharma < 기사본문 - KBR - Korea Biomedical Review
Pharmanovia, a U.K.-based multinational pharmaceutical company, said that it has established a Korean branch and appointed Yim Yoon-ah as its first country manager.
"Founded in 2013 and headquartered in Basildon, U.K., Pharmanovia operates a portfolio of more than 20 brands with over 250 employees in about 140 markets," the company said. "Pharmanovia is a pharmaceutical company created to fulfill the mission of continuously supplying related medicines, as many patients are still suffering from various diseases belonging to primary care."
Its main therapeutic areas are cardiovascular, women's health and endocrinology, neurology and pain, gastroenterology and oncology, and well-known brands worldwide, including Bonviva, Tenormin, Kytril, Famvir, Valium, and Leustatin.
The company also stressed that its first country manager, Lim graduated from the Department of Pharmacy at Ewha Womans University and has accumulated various careers in bio and healthcare for over 24 years, including Handok Aventis, GSK, Sandoz, and Abbott.
